Home again - 24 January 2016

We are now back at home in Turramurra, Sydney.  Jada is back at work as Teacher Librarian, Gordon West Public School.  Alison is in Year 6 at Pymble Ladies' College and Harry is in Year 3 at Gordon East Public School.  I am looking for something to occupy me that can keep me as enthralled as Karijini National Park did.  Wish me luck!

I considered posting one final photograph here to show how we had changed and grown but in the end I decided that a photograph would be inadequate as it couldn't possibly illustrate the difference in us.  Instead I rely on each photograph on this site.  The below photograph of Alison and Harry does, however, illustrate to some extent what has come from our journey.

At the start of our journey I expressed the hope that we could join the ranks of the lucky few who manage to fulfil a dream.  Over the past thirteen months exploring this great country of ours we have achieved that end and in the process grown, fought, seen and loved.  We have spent time, money, energy and emotion and in the end we are individually and collectively grateful, stronger, richer, closer and happier.  Long may it continue ...

P.S.
Harry never gave up asking "how much longer" but who would want him to change; not me!
