Atherton Tablelands - 3 - 5 September
After so long in savannah woodland and dry rocky country it was such a surprise and so refreshing to come into the Atherton Tablelands.
There are many waterfalls and volcanic lakes adding to the lush green dairy country. They say that if you drop a pin in the earth here it will grow into a crow bar!
The wildlife is abundant, however, it was tree kangaroos we saw at the Nerada Tea factory which were most captivating.
