12 - 18 January 2015 - Halls Gap (the Grampians)
Our first significant mishap ...
Jada slipped while exiting the van and in the process hit her back on the step. She described the level of pain she was in as equal to that which she experienced while giving birth to Harry. Now that hurt me to watch as he weighed 4.4kg and came out ready for school!
Before you accuse me of being an insensitive so and so for taking photographs while my wife was going through such pain, you should know that Jada was the one who requested the same. A couple of X-rays and C.T. scan later we established that there was no spine or nerve damage, however, it will take her a week or so to recover.

McKenzie Falls and Fish Falls (Jada stayed back at the van to rest her back)
The kids went abseiling in the Grand Canyon
Then they climbed up again!
We visited Halls Gap Zoo
More spectacular walks to the Pinnacle, the Grand Canyon, Clematis Falls and Silverband Falls - Jada is now back on her feet and walking with us (albeit a little slowly)
At Halls Gap we met new friends from Clare in South Australia who have been nine months on the road - Jodie and Nick who have three boys - Peter, Lachlan and Patrick
