2 - 9 August - Darwin
After a long time away from a city Jada was very happy to get some retail therapy and go to the markets and go to the markets and go to the markets and go to the markets ... The Nightcliff Market is alternate and the Mindil Market is a Darwin institution. The amount of people who are there and then watch the sunset on the beach is amazing.
At the Mindil Market there was a 'whip cracker' who offered anyone who would like, a try at whip cracking - so Harry had a go.
The Festival of Darwin was on which included loads of free performances. Jada caught up with Debbie her friend from Newcastle Uni and got in her last dose of markets before we moved on. We all loved Darwin but were not sure we could do a summer here.
